Best Time to Visit

RECOMENDED PERIOD APRIL - JUNE

Our experts recommend visiting the Tambopata Region between the months of April and June. During this time of the year, you are able to avoid the rainy season and the extreme humidity that falls between November and February. April, May and June are ideal months to visit the Amazon Rainforest to build a portfolio encompassing all of the wildlife the Amazon has to offer. What you can expect in the months of April, May and June

The forest is still wet and dense, with fruits and flowers all around, providing plenty of food, allowing for wildlife to flourish

The rain has become less frequent, but has left plenty of excess water for amphibians and reptiles to thrive

Birdlife is incredible during this time of year, ideal for any bird photographer

Offspring of frogs and snakes roam freely making great photographic opportunities.
